"Edge" It moves to the next phase of the counter-drone program with the Brazilian Navy

DUBAI, 20 November / WAM / EDGE, one of the leading global groups in advanced technology and defense, and the Brazilian Navy announced the transition to the next phase of the joint anti-drone system, intended for deployment in strategic locations, based on the letter of intent that was signed in April of this year.
In this context, a joint working group has been formed that includes technical experts from both sides, and a demonstration is scheduled to be carried out in December, with the first capabilities package to be delivered in 2026.
This step represents the first phase of a broader process with the Brazilian Navy, which may develop towards the development of anti-missile shields.
The agreement was signed by Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE, and Vice Admiral Carlos Henrique de Lima Zampieri, Director of Naval Weapons Systems at the Brazilian Navy, during the Dubai Airshow 2025. This step represents the next stage of the EDGE Group’s partnership with the Brazilian Navy, within the framework of a broader cooperation aimed at enhancing the operational effectiveness of the forces and counter-drone capabilities.
