"The pinnacle of knowledge" Review the concept "Regenerative performance" To maintain mental health and productivity

Dubai, November 20 / WAM / reviewed a session entitled “Regenerative Performance: How to thrive in an always-connected world without sacrificing your health and psychological quality?” Within the activities of the Knowledge Summit 2025 is the concept of innovative performance to achieve personal and professional balance in an accelerating and constantly connected world.

Dr. James Hewitt, founder of the Knowledge Work Lab, presented regenerative performance as a way to maintain high and sustainable efficiency without mental or health exhaustion, citing various cases that showed people’s differences in their concern for their mental and physical health.

He pointed out that about half of managers around the world do not feel satisfied with their lives due to unbalanced work patterns, pointing out that the search for happiness and quality of life has become a huge industry worth billions of dollars annually.

Hewitt explained that achieving high mental and physical performance requires a balance between effort and recovery, reviewing models of global corporate spending on well-being initiatives in work environments, which is expected to exceed $100 billion by 2030, reflecting growing awareness of the importance of workers’ mental health.

Hewitt explained the effect of different brain wave patterns on cognitive performance and mental state, from deep sleep to high concentration, stressing the importance of stimulating these states to achieve renewed performance. He conducted an interactive experiment using EEG technology to measure brain activity, explaining how the waves change according to the state of mind, and the role of what he called “golden speed vectors” in improving the quality of life by adjusting the timings of focus and rest.

He also presented a practical model for enhancing mental performance and the balance between focus and rest, which is based on intense work for 25 minutes followed by a mental break for 5 minutes, explaining that continuity in this pattern enhances productivity and reduces mental distraction, stressing the importance of good sleep and the negative impact of its lack on psychological, physical and mental health.
