Abu Dhabi Ship Building showcases marine innovations at the International Boat Show
Abu Dhabi, November 20 / WAM / Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding Company, a subsidiary of the EDGE Group, during its participation in the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, showcased its latest projects and products specialized in the design, construction and maintenance of military and commercial ships.
It also showcased its advanced capabilities that enhance the UAE’s position as a leading center for maritime industries in the region, in addition to innovative solutions that meet the needs of its partners from government and private agencies.
Abdul Rahman Al Raisi, Director of Strategy and Business Development at Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding Company, a subsidiary of the EDGE Group, confirmed that the company’s participation in the seventh edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show reflected its commitment to developing the shipbuilding sector in the country, indicating that the company’s efforts were not limited to the military sector, but also included the civil and non-military sectors.
He explained that the company displayed a group of boats that were traded inside and outside the country, in addition to health support boats, hospitals and marine ambulances, pointing out that these products come within a comprehensive strategy aimed at providing solutions that serve the civil, military and medical sectors.
Al-Raisi added that the 30-meter boat, which was displayed in the previous edition of the exhibition, received wide attention from visitors, and that the project reached a completion rate of 50%, indicating that it will be fully revealed in the next edition of the exhibition.
