Sharjah signs Bahraini Abdul Rahman Mohammed to lead the handball team

Sharjah Sports Club announced its contract with Bahraini coach Abdul Rahman Mohammed to take over the leadership of the first handball team during the 2026-2027 sports season.

The club stated, through its official account on the “X” platform, that the new coach, nicknamed “The Joker,” has great technical experience in Bahraini handball, having previously led the Bahraini national team, in addition to coaching Al-Shabab and Al-Dair clubs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to his experience with the Saudi Al-Wahda Club.

He added that the coach’s last stop was with the Bahraini Najma Club, which he led in the 2026 Asian Handball Championship, before moving on to take over the task of coaching the Sharjah team.
