Saudi film "Against cinema" He wins an award "Horizons of Arab Cinema"

The Saudi film won "Against cinema" Writer and director Ali Saeed won the Special Jury Prize (Salah Abu Saif Award), in his world premiere in the Horizons of Arab Cinema for feature films.
This came at the conclusion of the activities of the forty-sixth session of Cairo International Film Festival, which was held on Friday evening in Cairo, in the presence of a group of the most prominent stars and Cinemamakers from various countries of the world, in addition to prominent cultural, artistic and media figures.
Saudi author and director Ali Saeed pointed to the great development and renaissance that Saudi cinema has witnessed in the recent period, explaining that the award reflects the success of the path of Saudi cinema.
A Film Against Cinema
The film narrates "Against cinema" The documentary is the story of the emergence and development of Saudi cinema, by tracking the generation of children of the 1980s who loved cinema despite the absence of cinema halls at that time.
It also reveals the features of cinematic life in the Kingdom before 1979, investigating the beginnings of performances and the first production attempts, through the testimonies of Saudi cinema pioneers, in a research trip that spanned five years.
