Sun Downs flexed its muscles with a hat-trick against Lobobo

The South African team Mamelodi Sundowns achieved a major victory over Congolese club St. Eloy Lobobo by three goals to one in the match that brought them together in the first round of the group stage of the African Champions League.

With this result, Sun Downs leads its third group in the CAF Champions League, winning the first 3 points in its campaign and ahead of Sudan’s Al-Hilal, the runner-up, on goal difference.
