List of the Iraqi national team participating in the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar

The Iraqi Football Association, through its official accounts on social media, today published the list of Al-Rafidain Lions participating in the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar.

The Iraqi national team plays in the fourth group, which also includes Algeria and the winner of the Bahrain-Djibouti match, in addition to the winner of the Lebanon-Sudan match.

Below is the Al-Rafidain Lions lineup:

Goalkeepers: Jalal Hassan, Ahmed Basil, and Fahd Talib

For the defense line: Maytham Jabbar, Manaf Younis, Akam Hashem, Saad Natiq, Mustafa Saadoun, Ahmed Hassan Makkenzi, and Ahmed Yahya.

For the midfield: Hussein Ali Jassim, Amir Sabah, Osama Rashid, Karar Nabil, Ibrahim Bayesh, Sajad Jassim, Marco Faraj, Hassan Abdel Karim, and Ali Jassim.

For attack: Ayman Hussein, Muhannad Ali, Ammar Mohsen, and Muhammad Jawad.

16 teams will compete for the 2025 Arab Cup title in Qatar, from December 1 to 18, with Al Bayt Stadium hosting the opening match on December 1 at 19:30 Qatar time, between the Qatari team and the winner of the Palestine-Libya match, with Lusail Stadium hosting the final match on December 18.

The FIFA website had previously announced that tickets for the 2025 Arab Cup tournament in Qatar were for sale, with prices starting from 25 Qatari riyals.
