"Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Award" / A platform that creates future champions and establishes international excellence

Abu Dhabi, November 24 / WAM / A number of winners of the best awards at the Abu Dhabi World Award Ceremony for Jiu-Jitsu Professionals confirmed that winning one of the most important awards on the international scene represents the culmination of an entire season’s work, and a strong incentive to continue giving and achieve more achievements in the coming years.
Yesterday, the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City witnessed a ceremony honoring the winners of the season’s awards after the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which was held with the participation of 10,000 male and female players from various countries of the world.
Hazza Al Kaabi, winner of the Best Emirati Under-16 Player Award, expressed his happiness at the coronation, stressing that the award is the result of continuous work throughout the season, after achieving advanced positions in the World Championships in Thailand and Croatia.
He said that being crowned in Abu Dhabi, as well as in the most prominent international championships, is a great motivation for continuing development and a permanent presence on the podiums.
For her part, player Aisha Al Junaibi, who was crowned the best Emirati player under 18, expressed her pride in the award, noting that she had set it as a goal since the beginning of the season, which motivated her to achieve distinguished results in local and foreign tournaments to reach the podium in Abu Dhabi.
For her part, Sarah Al Zarouni, winner of the Best Emirati Player Under 16 Award, confirmed that winning the award is a reward for the efforts of a full year of training and competition, noting that obtaining the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Award is the best motivation to continue her career in the game.
For his part, Brazilian Thiago Macedo, who won the Best Player Award in the North and Central American continents, expressed his great happiness at being crowned for the second time in a row in Abu Dhabi, noting that this recognition reflects continuous work over the course of an entire season, and that winning the award for the second time gives him additional motivation to achieve more in his future participations.
For his part, his compatriot Lucas Protazio, who was crowned the best player in the black belt category, described his victory in Abu Dhabi as a great honor, especially after a long and difficult season, stressing that standing on the podium is an unforgettable moment, and gives him great energy to continue developing.
For her part, Australian Nikki Lloyd Griffiths, winner of the Best Female Player in Oceania award, expressed her pride in being crowned for the third time in her career, stressing that Abu Dhabi has become an inspiring destination for jiu-jitsu champions around the world. She said: “I always feel grateful for the appreciation I receive in the Emirates. Standing on the podium embodies the harvest of a full year of work and motivates me to maintain and develop my level.”
