The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources casts his vote in the House of Representatives elections

Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, cast his vote in the House of Representatives elections, in the Fatima Anan School Committee in the Fifth Settlement. After casting his vote, the Minister stressed the importance of positive and effective participation in this constitutional entitlement, and of citizens exercising their electoral right to choose representatives capable of representing them under the dome of Parliament, expressing their pulse, and conveying the priorities of the needs of the various groups to the relevant state institutions.
Badawi added that the House of Representatives elections come within the framework of completing the formation of the parliamentary councils after the Senate elections, given the House of Representatives’ important legislative and oversight role through enacting legislation and laws that serve citizens, support attracting investment and increasing production. And maximizing the benefit from Egypt’s resources.
The minister explained that the House of Representatives approved in its last session within the framework of complementary work with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Important laws that contribute to attracting Investments in the mining sector and optimal exploitation of our mineral wealth, and support efforts to explore and produce oil and gas.
