The second phase of the parliamentary elections includes 13 governorates: Cairo, Qalyubia, Dakahlia, Menoufia, Gharbia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Sharqia, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai, and South Sinai, which includes 73 electoral districts and 5,287 sub-committees, while the number of those entitled to vote internally is about 34 million. 1,316 candidates compete in the individual system within 73 electoral districts, while 142 seats are allocated to the list system in the Cairo, South and Central Delta, and East Delta sectors, where one list is competing, which is the “National List for Egypt».
