"Trends" Showcasing his publications at Al Ain Book Festival 2025

Al Ain, November 25 / WAM / The Trends Center for Research and Consultation participates for the fourth time in a row in the Al Ain Book Festival to highlight its latest publications, which exceed 500 publications and vary between translation and strategic studies.

In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Dr. Muhammad Al-Ali, CEO of the Trends Center, reviewed the book “The Pearl Age: From Poverty to Prosperity,” which is considered the center’s latest publication and which has been translated into English, and the book “The Soft Powers of the UAE,” while the 15th issue of the encyclopedia “The Muslim Brotherhood and its Threat” is present at the exhibition.

Al-Ali stressed that the center participates in the Al Ain Book Fair as a strategic partner with the Arabic Language Center, and is keen on knowledge and cultural exchange with all participating institutions and publishing houses, describing cultural exhibitions as bridges of knowledge and culture.

Al Ali announced the upcoming launch of the Trends office in the city of Al Ain, which will provide a package of services to the local community, including research consultations that provide specialized research services to the people of Al Ain, and media and vocational training by holding courses to “refine the talents of media professionals” in the city. It will also embrace young researchers and sign cooperation agreements, most notably with the UAE University, to issue joint research, embrace young researchers, and publish their publications.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Ali explained that the Al Ain Office will conduct opinion polls focusing on specialized projects to serve private institutions in the city.

He praised the continuous development of the exhibition industry in the UAE, pointing out that these cultural events contribute to raising youth awareness and allow students to spend their free time in a rich cultural environment.

As part of its agenda at the exhibition, the Center, through its office in Al Ain, is preparing to launch a qualitative research study entitled “Demographic Security in the UAE: The Strategic Necessity to Address Declining Fertility Rates.”

The study prepared by researcher Maryam Rashid Al Zaabi, Head of the Academic Advising Department at the Scholarships Office, comes within the framework of the Center’s endeavors to enable young research talents to provide scientific solutions to national issues.

Commenting on the launch of the participation, Warda Al Menhali, Director of the Trends Office in Al Ain, said that this year’s participation through the Al Ain Office establishes a new phase in the center’s cultural work, and aims to motivate the new generation to engage in forward-looking scientific research to enhance the values ​​of tolerance and create the future.

In turn, Obaid Faisal Al Kaabi, Head of the Smart Libraries Section at the Distribution and Exhibitions Department, pointed out that the pavilion is distinguished by providing intellectual content through interactive technologies that support the visitor’s experience and reflect the excellence of the content provided by the center.

In a related context, the Trends Youth Council, represented by researcher Saif Al Nuaimi, participates within the cultural program of the festival, in a session entitled “Youth and the Cultural Scene,” scheduled to be held tomorrow at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Al Ain.
