The Endowments intensify awareness efforts to eliminate violence against women through large-scale activities in the governorates
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments intensified awareness efforts by implementing a wide series of educational and awareness-raising activities, under the supervision of Dr. Marwa Yassin, Assistant Minister for Women Preachers Affairs.
The Endowments Directorates of Cairo, Beheira, Fayoum, Minya, Sohag, Dakahlia, Giza, Port Said, Sharkia, Alexandria, and Assiut participated in implementing expanded activities within Schools, mosques, youth centers, clubs, palaces of culture, homes for the elderly, markets, and roundtable sessions, as well as door-knocking efforts, reflecting the ministry’s active presence in confronting violence in all its forms.
The activities included discussing topics aimed at enhancing community stability and cohesion, spreading awareness of women’s rights, and consolidating the values of compassion, cooperation, and mutual respect, with an emphasis on rejecting any form of violence or discrimination.
Female preachers played a pivotal role in these events. The activities, through the participation of a group of elite women in the various governorates, are: Preacher Somaya Sabry – Buhaira Endowments Directorate, and preacher Hanem Abdel Razek – Sohag Endowments Directorate, and preacher Iman Menisy – Buhaira Endowments Directorate.
And also the preacher Wafa Abdel Salam Abdel Salam – Cairo Endowments Directorate, and preacher Amal Jaber Kamel Musa – Minya Endowments Directorate, and preacher Amira Ahmed Rajab – Fayoum Endowments Directorate, and preacher Ola Gamal Ramadan – Fayoum Endowments Directorate, and preacher Zainab Al-Saeed Abdel Hamid – Minya Endowments Directorate, and preacher Sahar Mahmoud Muhammad Hammam – Port Said Endowments Directorate.
And the preacher Sahar Muhammad Shawqi Jaissa – Giza Endowments Directorate, and preacher Walaa Mustafa Bakr – Dakahlia Endowments Directorate, and the preacher Sahar Muhammad Shawqi – Giza Endowments Directorate, and preacher Nousa Muhammad Ashour – Alexandria Endowments Directorate, and preacher Iman Muhammad Salem – Western Endowments Directorate.
And the preacher Sahar Mahmoud Muhammad – Port Said Endowments Directorate, and preacher Aya Hamdy – Giza Endowments Directorate (6 October), and preacher Hala Muhammad Rabie – Minya Endowments Directorate, and preacher Heba Mukhtar Ali – Fayoum Endowments Directorate, and preacher Iman Masoud Hassan Hegazy – Eastern Endowments Directorate.
