Extension of registration to participate in the UAE Open Shooting Cup
Abu Dhabi, November 26 / WAM / The Organizing Committee of the UAE Licensed Shooting Championship announced the extension of the registration period to participate in the UAE Open Cup for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, until the first of next December, with the increasing number of those wishing to participate in the competition.
The tournament will be held at Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club during the period from 20 to 24 December, and valuable prizes have been allocated for it, and the winner of the title will receive the golden symbol in the first edition of this tournament.
The organizing committee praised the large turnout of participants from outside the country by registering through the website designated for the tournament, and their keenness to implement instructions regarding safety procedures, and to hand over licensed personal weapons at the designated outlets, to ensure smooth procedures for their arrival to the tournament headquarters at the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club.
She pointed out that this tournament is being held after the great and distinguished success of the activities of the UAE Licensed Weapons Shooting Championship in its third edition, in Al Dhafra, Ajman, Masfoot and Al Ain, and the distinguished levels of competitiveness witnessed between male and female participants, and the broad interaction with its tangible value in enhancing competitive capabilities and developing individual skills in the sport of shooting.
She stressed the importance of entering the shooter’s data and the weapon’s data with complete accuracy, and ensuring their accuracy before sending, since any incorrect data may lead to the weapon not being allowed to enter through the border crossings, and being denied participation in competitions.
