This step comes within the framework of the Authority’s efforts to establish an integrated system aimed at improving the quality of training and enhancing Efficiency of trainers, and improving the outcomes of the training process in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the human capacity development program.The Education Evaluation Commission stated that the professional license is issued according to precise standards and procedures that enable its holder to practice the training profession for a specific period of time, and represents an accreditation document that enhances the reliability of the trainer before the training authorities and trainees, and contributes to raising the level of professional competence within the sector.
The Authority confirmed that the professional license for trainers aims to establish the scientific foundation from which the training profession begins, advance its work, and direct the professional paths of trainers according to a clear methodology based on established national standards. The license also contributes to providing professional guidance for professional development programs, and providing .
The license includes two main types: General licenses that allow the trainer to practice training in fields for which specialized licenses are not available, and specialized licenses that enable the holder to practice training in a specific field in accordance with the requirements of the relevant regulatory body.
The license targets all those wishing to practice the training profession within the Kingdom, as it provides them with an approved regulatory framework that reflects their competence and ability to provide professional training that is compatible with national standards..
The Authority clarified that the validity period of the license begins from the date of its issuance, and ends after five years if it is issued within a calendar year of passing the professional license test for the most recent trainers, while it ends five years after the end of that year if the license is issued one year after passing the test.
The Authority also set the financial compensation for the license at approximately 100 riyals for testing the license, and 200 riyals for issuing it..
