Head of the Leather Division at the Cairo Chamber discusses enhancing cooperation with the Arab Federation of Leather Industries in Turkey
Mohamed Mahran, representative of the Arab Federation for Leather Industries in Egypt and head of the Leather Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, held coordination meetings with the representative of the Arab Federation for Leather Industries in Turkey, Ammar Mahmoud, and visited the “ISAF” exhibition. for shoes and leather industries, and held meetings with a number of specialized Turkish institutions, including: "Leather and Leather Products Exporters Council in Istanbul– ISAD Shoe Manufacturers Council.
This came during his visit to Turkey last week to discuss ways of new Egyptian-Turkish cooperation in the leather sector.
Mahran said that his visit aims to enhance joint cooperation and exchange technical, investment and commercial expertise between the two sides, which contributes to supporting and developing the leather industries sector, opening new areas for export and joint manufacturing, and exchanging delegations. Commercial.
He added that such meetings and visits serve the interests of the leather industries and support their competitiveness in regional and international markets, and therefore we are keen on them, and they also lead to Egyptian-Turkish integration in this industry.
Mahran expected that the leather industry would develop in light of these efforts and the pursuit of exchanging experiences and modern technology witnessed in the current era in various sectors and not just the leather sector, indicating that there is an action plan aimed at development According to Egypt’s Vision 2030.
