المملكة: A global model.. Saudi Arabia showcases the achievements of the conjoined twins program in New York
The senior advisor participated in and Humanitarian Aid for Medical and Humanitarian Research Ziyad bin Ahmed Memesh yesterday, in a dialogue session entitled (Evidence-based approach, cross-sector cooperation and innovations in the field of health care, education and inclusion for children with complex disabilities), which was organized by the Center in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), within the event held on the occasion of and evaluated (152) cases from (28) countries on (5) continents around the world, in addition to providing comprehensive care in which advanced surgery is integrated with psychological, social, and educational support.

He highlighted the qualitative innovations implemented by the center in the field of conjoined twins, including telemedicine, surgical planning supported by artificial intelligence, the development of a global digital registry for conjoined twins and the importance of developing research in this field, noting that these initiatives contribute to improving access to care and enhancing knowledge exchange globally.
