The Romanian Embassy celebrates its country’s National Day
Abu Dhabi, 27 November / WAM / Omar Rashid Al Neyadi, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the reception held by His Excellency Bogdan Octavian, Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to the UAE, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.
The ceremony, which was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi, was also attended by a number of officials, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the country, members of the Romanian community residing in the country, and a number of Romanian businessmen.
In his speech on this occasion, the Romanian ambassador praised the strong relations between his country and the UAE, and the wise policy of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”
He pointed out that the UAE is considered a major and important partner for Romania in the region, and they have strong and established relations in various fields, pointing to the interest and keenness of the leadership of the two countries in recent years to strengthen bilateral relations in a way that achieves the interests of the two friendly peoples.
