More than 30 killed and 14 missing due to heavy rains in Sri Lanka

The center added that 14 more people are missing today, as a result of landslides in the same areas.
Severe weather
The death toll has risen to 31 people since last week, when Sri Lanka was exposed to severe weather, as heavy rains that fell at the weekend caused Widespread destruction, after rainwater submerged homes, fields, and roads.
Water also overflowed in many reservoirs and rivers, which contributed to the disruption of traffic on the roads.
