Fermin will miss Barcelona’s 3 important matches, most notably Atletico Madrid

International midfielder Fermin Lopes will miss Barcelona for two weeks due to an injury to his right calf, according to what was announced by the second-ranking Spanish football league.
Barcelona said in a brief statement: “Firmin suffers from a minor injury to his right calf, and it will take about two weeks to recover from it.”
Fermin (22 years old), who won the European Cup and the Olympic Games with the Spanish national team, will not participate in Barcelona’s next three matches against Alaves, Atletico Madrid and Real Betis in the league, and he may miss the match against Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Champions League, on December 9.
Firmin suffered a thigh injury at the end of September, before regaining his main position as a midfielder ahead of his compatriot Dani Olmo, scoring five goals and providing four assists in six matches.
Barcelona, which suffered a harsh loss to its English host Chelsea 0-3 in the fifth round of the Champions League and occupies second place in the league behind Real Madrid by one point, needs to regain its balance to maintain pressure on its rival.
