264 attacks in a month… 4 European countries condemn settler attacks in the West Bank

France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom condemned against Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, noting that (264) attacks were recorded last October according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, which is the highest number since 2006.
The foreign ministers of the four countries stressed in a joint statement today that the continuation of these actions threatens stability and undermines the efforts made to achieve peace and the two-state solution, calling on the government of since the beginning of this year constitute an unprecedented level that calls for an immediate retreat.
The statement criticized the detention of the Palestinian Authority’s tax revenues, calling for their release and the strengthening of the financial system between the two sides because of its importance in supporting public services and preventing the deterioration of the economic situation.
The European countries renewed their commitment to the two-state solution, as the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace between the two sides.
