Launched in the capital Yesterday, Saturday, the Master Class Program for Artificial Intelligence was organized by in partnership with the International Association of City and Regional Planners "ISOCARP"As part of the preparatory preparations for the sixty-first World Council of m "ISOCARP"which will be hosted by the city in early December 2025.
The program will be held on November 29 and 30, 2025 under the title "Artificial intelligence in decision making for urban planning"; With the aim of raising the readiness of local and international competencies participating in the Council’s work, and promoting discussions about the future of cities and urban development trends.
Planning and Architecture Techniques
The program is implemented in partnership with the Institute of Advanced Architecture in Catalonia. "IAAC"One of the most prominent global institutions specialized in planning and architecture technologies, an elite group of experts presents the latest practical applications of artificial intelligence in analyzing spatial and urban data, in addition to reviewing the role of digital technologies in supporting decision-making and formulating more efficient and sustainable urban policies.

The program reflects the Riyadh Municipality’s interest in developing the capabilities of national cadres, and enabling them to acquire advanced skills that are compatible with the technical transformations taking place in the urban sector globally, especially in light of the Kingdom’s move towards building smart cities based on innovation and data. The program also represents a step in support of the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030; Aiming to enhance the competitiveness of Saudi cities and raise the quality of life in them.
Intensive practical training
Forty specialists from inside and outside the Kingdom participate in the program, which contributes to exchanging global experiences and learning about best practices in the areas of urban transformation based on artificial intelligence.
The program includes intensive practical training; It aims to develop innovative business models capable of addressing accelerating urban challenges and supporting urban development efforts in Riyadh and Saudi cities.
Applications of Artificial Intelligence
The master class concludes with a special focus on applications of artificial intelligence in urban planning, from the analysis to design stages, with a discussion of key issues including water scarcity, waste management, improving mobility, enhancing food security, and supporting climate resilience.
Participants are provided with practical, non-programmatic tools that help them innovate applicable solutions that contribute to building More efficient, smart and sustainable cities.
