"Sharjah Economy"Martyr’s Day reinforces loyalty and belonging to the homeland
Sharjah, 30 November / WAM / His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Economic Development, confirmed that Martyr’s Day represents a symbol of pride and dignity and embodies the highest meanings of sacrifice and loyalty to the homeland and to the wise leadership.
On this occasion, His Excellency said that this National Day embodies the UAE’s appreciation for the sacrifices of its martyrs who gave their lives in defense of the homeland, and it serves as a return of gratitude and an opportunity to express the true connection between the homeland, the leadership and the people, in remembrance, loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices and giving of the homeland’s martyrs and its righteous sons, who gave their lives so that the UAE flag will remain flying high while performing their national tasks and duties inside and outside the homeland in various fields.
He added: “On this day, we remember with all appreciation the sacrifices of our righteous martyrs who gave their lives so that the UAE flag may continue to fly with pride and glory, and we affirm that we will continue to follow their approach of sincerity, work, and effort for the advancement of our dear homeland.”
