The Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah participates in the mountain walk on the summit of Jebel Jais to celebrate the 54th Union Day
Ras Al Khaimah, 30 November / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, participated in the mountain walk that was held this morning on the summit of Jebel Jais to celebrate the 54th Union Day, amid a wide presence of participants from different age groups.
Also participating in the march were Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Arhama bin Saud bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince, and Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Saud bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Private Secretary of His Highness the Crown Prince, along with a number of officials.
The march was organized within the framework of the national events taking place in the emirate on this occasion, as climbing Jebel Jais – the highest peak in the UAE – represented an embodiment of the spirit of challenge, unity and belonging, and an enhancement of the culture of mountain sports among members of society.
The participants expressed their pride in this national occasion, stressing that the march reflects the emirate’s aspirations to support community and sports activities that consolidate the Emirati identity and enhance communication between members of society.
