The Palestinian Presidency condemns settler attacks in the Ein al-Duik community in Jericho

 The Palestinian Presidency condemned the terrorist attacks carried out by settlers yesterday, Sunday, against four foreign solidarity activists, at the Ain al-Duik gathering in Jericho. They beat them, wounding three Italian activists and a Canadian, and stole the contents of the house, passports, and mobile phones of the solidarity activists.

 

The presidency confirmed – in a statement – today, Monday According to the Palestinian News Agency “Wafa”, the attempts of the occupation authorities and its various tools, including settler terrorism, aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land through terrorism, killing, uprooting trees, and burning crops must not go unaccounted for, because they not only constitute a flagrant violation of international law, but rather a threat to the values of justice on which the foundations of the international system and other basic norms and rights are based.

 

The presidency warned Due to the seriousness of these terrorist acts in violation of international law, it holds the Israeli government fully responsible for the serious repercussions of these terrorist operations, by the colonialists on citizens and solidarity activists alike.

 

The Presidency renewed the call on the international community to hold these criminal killers accountable and impose sanctions on them and on the occupation authorities that provide them with support and protection, and provide protection for our people, in order to end the occupation and embody the independence of the Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. 1967 borders.
