المملكة: 12 cameras and electronic gates… modern technologies increase the efficiency of the Safwa Cemetery


The «Al-Firdaws for Honoring the Dead» in Qatif Governorate, in strategic cooperation with Al-Safa Charitable Association, in implementing a comprehensive development plan for the Safwa Cemetery, which included modernizing the infrastructure and security systems and expanding the burial spaces, with the aim of raising operating efficiency, preserving the sanctity of the place, and facilitating the movement of mourners and visitors.

Integrated monitoring and organization network

The association imposed precise digital oversight to ensure the security of the site, completing the installation of an advanced system that includes 12 modern surveillance cameras. Geometrically distributed to cover all Funeral vehicles and visitors with high efficiency.

Expansion of the burial squares

Al-Firdous implemented a vital project to expand the “squares of the burial square” to significantly increase the capacity of the cemetery, in order to keep pace with future needs and ensure a better organization of the internal spaces and their systematic exploitation befitting the dignity of the dead.

Hafez Al-Faraj, President of the Al-Firdous Association, stressed that this achievement embodies a living model. For integration between the non-profit sector and the local community, he pointed out that the partnership with the “Al-Safa Association” and the direct financial support from the people of Safwa were the main driver for transforming these plans into a tangible reality.

Al-Faraj praised the high cultural awareness of the Safwa community and their generous support for projects to honor the dead, stressing the continuation of work to develop all cemetery facilities in the governorate and employing the latest technologies to serve mourners in accordance with the highest organizational standards.
