"Emirates Copyright Management" Union Day: Renewable energy to preserve the rights of creators and support cultural industries

Sharjah, 1st December / WAM / Majd Al Shehhi, Director of the Emirates Copyright Management Association, affirmed the firm commitment to protecting creativity and preserving intellectual property, believing that knowledge is the true wealth of nations, and that supporting creators and publishers and protecting their rights represents a national duty to consolidate the UAE’s position as an incubator of culture and a destination for global creativity.
On the occasion of the 54th Union Day, Al Shehhi pointed out that the UAE has become a role model in supporting creators and empowering the cultural and knowledge industries, consolidating its regional and global presence in the fields of innovation, publishing, and intellectual rights, thanks to a leadership vision that made the country a fertile environment for growth and development.
The Director of the Association extended her sincere congratulations to the people of the Emirates and their wise leadership on this national occasion, describing it as a day filled with lofty connotations and meanings that formed the starting point for the founding of the state when the founding fathers united their paths within the framework of one vision that created a nation that is proud of its achievements.
Al Shehhi concluded by emphasizing that Union Day provides renewed energy that pushes towards broader horizons to contribute to the construction process, guided by the guidance of a wise leadership that loves its people and its land, and renewing the pledge to make the utmost efforts for the sake of the nation’s elevation and development.
