European stock markets began the first December sessions, today, Monday, with a noticeable decline, amid the continued state of caution among investors ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting. The European STOXX 600 index fell by 0.4% to record 574.13 points, while the German DAX index fell by 0.6% to the level of 23,682.39 points.
The British FTSE index also fell by 0.1% to reach 9,705.86 points, and the French CAC 40 index fell by 0.5%, recording 8,077.98 points.
