Launching an initiative "Movies for everyone" To support participation in the cinematic sector


The Film Commission announced the launch of the Films for All initiative in A vibrant cinematic sector capable of absorbing diverse energies and providing a more comprehensive production environment.

Four complementary paths for the initiative

The initiative relies on four complementary paths that constitute its executive framework; The policy path begins with setting regulatory standards that establish the principles of inclusion and fair access within the sector, and the partnerships and cooperation path is integrated with it by activating the role of Filmmakers and all public, private and non-profit entities, with the aim of involving and empowering all segments of society, including children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and others.
The framework includes a path of events and activities that works to enhance the presence and participation of various societal groups within the cinematic events organized by the Authority, while providing an enjoyable experience by facilitating the accompanying services and facilities. This framework concludes with the talent development path, which provides training and development opportunities and attracts capabilities from creative groups with disabilities and various members of society, allowing them to enter the competencies of the Saudi film industry and contribute to its future growth.

Supporting equal opportunities

The Films for All initiative consolidates the role of the film sector as a sector capable of supporting equal opportunities and accommodating different groups, thus enhancing its competitiveness locally and internationally.
This initiative comes within the strategic initiatives of the Authority Films, in order to enhance their complementary role in establishing societal inclusiveness and enabling the sustainability of the Saudi film sector; To be available and effective from various groups of promising local society.
