The National Post Office issues a commemorative postage stamp on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Egyptian Fatwa House

The National Postal Service issued a commemorative postage stamp; Celebrating the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Egyptian Fatwa House, documenting this important event, and highlighting the historical and scientific role that the Fatwa House has played since its establishment in 1895 in serving the Sharia sciences and consolidating the approach of moderation.

The Egyptian Fatwa House is one of the oldest fatwa institutions in Islam, as it was founded in the late nineteenth century, and its leadership is followed by an elite group of senior scholars who contributed to establishing the approach of moderation and spreading jurisprudence. Al-Rasin, in addition to the national role it played in various historical stages, and its contributions to supporting societal stability and guiding people with wisdom and knowledge.

The Egyptian Fatwa House maintains a vast scientific heritage that includes manuscripts, rare documents, and historical fatwas documenting the development of jurisprudence over more than a century. Its heritage library also includes a large number of scientific treasures that are a reference for researchers and students of knowledge in Egypt and abroad.
