Ras Al Khaimah Police allocated 82 patrols to secure the emirate’s Union Day celebrations

Ras Al Khaimah, 3 December / WAM / Ras Al Khaimah Police confirmed the success of its plan to deal with the festive atmosphere and the increasing demand by the public and tourists in various areas of Ras Al Khaimah during Union Day, while the Operations Room received 7,130 calls during the Union Day holiday, which were dealt with with high professionalism and referred to the relevant authorities according to the areas of jurisdiction.
Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi, Director General of Central Operations and Head of the Permanent Team for Celebrations and Events at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said that all field measures and procedures have been taken that would resolve any traffic congestion to achieve the required flow and speed of intervention in emergency situations.
He added that 82 different patrols were allocated, ranging from military patrols, respondent patrols, security media, surveillance patrols, traffic sergeants, civil patrols, and Saed patrols, in addition to investigation and criminal investigation patrols, and patrols affiliated with police stations according to their areas of jurisdiction, noting the remarkable presence and doubled effort of the city’s comprehensive police station in the field; In light of the expansion of its areas of jurisdiction, which witnessed a large movement of cars and a large presence of people.
The Brigadier General stated that the efforts contributed to a decrease in the number of violations issued during this occasion compared to those in previous years, praising the tremendous efforts made by members of the Ras Al Khaimah Police during the 54th Union Day holiday, who continued day and night to ensure the security, safety and comfort of citizens and residents.
