Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, meets with the Commander of US Central Command

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, met with Lieutenant General Brad Cooper, Commander of the US Central Command, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting Egypt.

 

The meeting discussed a number of topics of common interest, developments in regional situations, and support for security and stability efforts in the region, including joint Egyptian-American efforts to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and intensifying the entry of humanitarian aid within the framework of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Agreement, as well as ways to enhance military cooperation relations between Both countries.

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces expressed his pride in the extended relations between the Egyptian and American armed forces, noting the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to enhance the prospects for military cooperation in a way that achieves the common interests of both friendly countries.

 

While the Commander of the US Central Command stressed the important role played by the Egyptian state in consolidating the foundations of peace and stability in the region, and also praised the organizational capabilities and level of Excellent for the activities of the fourth edition of the International Defense Industries Exhibition “EDEX 2025” It includes a display of the latest weapons and equipment from various major companies and defense industries around the world.

 

The meeting was attended by a number of leaders of the Egyptian and American armed forces.
