Agreement to promote artificial intelligence in "Asian Paralympics" For young people "Dubai 2025"

Dubai, 5 December / WAM / The Asian Paralympic Committee signed a partnership agreement with Chery International to support the Asian Youth Paralympic Games “Dubai 2025” and enhance the Paralympic movement on the continent through smart solutions that contribute to improving the quality of life of people of determination.
The agreement was signed by Majid Al Osaimi, Chairman of the Asian Paralympic Committee, and Zhou Shaodong, Executive Vice President of Chery International, on the sidelines of the press conference held by the Organizing Committee of the Games, which will be held from December 7 to 14, in the presence of Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, and Thani Juma Barqad, Chairman of the Games Organizing Committee.
Under the partnership, the company provides 10 interactive robots supported by artificial intelligence technologies, in line with innovation and empowerment trends in society, and gives participants a qualitative experience during the continental event, which witnesses the participation of 1,500 male and female players from 35 countries in 11 games.
Majid Al Osaimi stressed that the partnership represents an important addition that contributes to providing a global experience for young Paralympic athletes in Dubai, and creating a sustainable impact in various countries of the continent.
He pointed out that employing artificial intelligence in sports for people of determination constitutes a prominent step in developing sports tools within future plans and initiatives.
