Gold rises despite its trend toward a slight weekly decline
New York, December 5 / WAM / Gold prices recorded an increase today, as spot transactions rose by 0.5% to reach $4226.99 per ounce by 12:08 GMT, despite continuing to trend towards a slight weekly decline of 0.1%.
US futures contracts for February also rose by 0.3%, recording $4,257.40 per ounce.
