The UAE national team is facing a difficult confrontation in the 2025 Arab Cup, currently being held in Doha, when it meets its Egyptian counterpart at 10:30 pm today at Lusail Stadium, in the second round of Group C.

Al-Abyad is going through a critical stage, as it enters the match in search of compensation after its loss to the Jordanian team 1-2, as it occupies last place without a score in the group topped by “Al-Nashama” with six points compared to a point for each of the Egyptian and Kuwaiti teams, who tied in the first round 1-1, which makes a full score an absolute necessity for the national team if it wants to continue the journey of searching for a qualifying card for the second round.

The technical staff of the UAE national team, led by coach Olario Cosimen, announced the Al-Abyad lineup to face Egypt, which witnessed a slight change from the lineup that played the Jordan match, with Sasha in the starting lineup and Kwame on the bench. The lineup included: Hamad Al-Muqbali, Ruben Feely, Lucas Pimenta, Sascha Ivkovic, Aladdin Zuhair, Yahya Nader, Marcos Meloni, Luan Pereira, Nicolas Jimenez, Yahya Al-Ghassani, and Bruno Oliveira.
