Our national team tied with its Egyptian counterpart in the Arab Cup
Doha, December 6 / WAM / Our first national football team tied with its Egyptian counterpart 1-1 tonight at Lusail Stadium in the matches of the second round of the third group of the Arab Cup Championship currently being held in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the participation of 16 teams.
With this result, our national team has one point, and the Egyptian team has two points.
Within the same group’s matches, the Jordanian national team defeated its Kuwaiti counterpart 3-1 at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium.
With this result, the Jordanian team raised its score to 6 points at the top of the group to qualify for the quarter-finals, while the Kuwaiti team’s score stopped at one point.
In the fourth group matches, the Iraqi national team defeated its Sudanese counterpart 2-0 at Stadium 974.
With this result, the Iraqi national team raised its score to 6 points at the top of the group to qualify for the quarter-finals, while the Sudan national team’s balance remained at one point.
Within the same group, Algeria, the defending champion, defeated Bahrain 5-1 at Khalifa International Stadium.
With this result, the Algerian national team raised its score to 4 points, while the Bahrain national team remained without any points.
