The official indicators of volunteer performance showed the involvement of 13,935 male and female volunteers in the environmental and agricultural field, who actively participated in implementing 230 various volunteer opportunities offered by the branch to serve the local community and develop the country’s agricultural sector. The volunteers translated their passion for serving the nation by providing 265,964 hours of volunteer work, which reflects the amount of effort expended and the tangible impact of these initiatives on the ground, which was financially evaluated at more than six million five hundred thousand riyals.

The initiatives recorded record satisfaction rates among the beneficiaries amounting to 97.63%, which confirms the quality of services provided and the efficiency of the organization, and reflects the success of the operational plans. Which is supervised by the branch in cooperation with the success partners.

In a gesture of appreciation, the branch’s general director, Engineer Mohammed bin Ali Al Atif, honored all the entities and individuals who took the lead in the success of these initiatives, appreciating their pivotal role in achieving these unprecedented numbers.

In celebration of International Volunteer Day 2025, the branch implemented a qualitative community initiative at its headquarters, with wide participation from non-profit sector organizations. And civil society organizations, to consolidate the culture of volunteer work as a solid human and national value.

The branch management, with the support of the management of the non-profit sector organizations, seeks to invest in this success through expansion plans for the next season, aiming to double the number of volunteers and diversify the available opportunities in accordance with the development needs of the region.

The Ministry stressed that this volunteer movement does not only aim for numbers, but rather comes at the core of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to reach… For one million volunteers, raising the level of environmental awareness, and enabling community members to actively participate in sustainable development.
