The Emirates Horse Racing Authority praises the great success of the President’s Cup race for Arabian horses
Abu Dhabi, 7 December / WAM / The Emirates Horse Racing Authority confirmed that the race of the 33rd edition of the Cup of His Highness the President of the State for purebred Arabian and hybrid horses achieved great success with the participation of international horses, amid a large public presence at the Abu Dhabi track yesterday.
His Excellency Engineer Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, Director General of the Emirates Horse Racing Authority and Vice President of the Asian Horse Racing Federation, said that the evening, which consisted of 7 rounds, witnessed strong competition between the best horses to win the first places.
His Excellency Al Shehhi praised the great and tangible efforts of the directors and boards of directors of equestrian clubs in the country, in providing a distinctive experience for all followers of horse racing in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain and Sharjah, with strong and enjoyable competitions, with the participation of international horses, which heralds a successful and strong season that is appreciated by the Authority.
He also expressed his appreciation for the continuous and distinguished successes of national trainers in horse racing, and their superiority over their counterparts among the world’s leading trainers, and said that they have proven their worth by winning major titles in many powerful races.
