The Crown Prince of Sharjah chairs the Executive Council meeting
Sharjah, 9 December / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, chaired this Tuesday morning, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, the Council meeting held in the office of His Highness the Ruler.
During its meeting, the Council discussed a group of general topics related to the conduct of government work, and discussed the general policies of government departments and bodies, and their role in achieving the vision and strategy of the Emirate of Sharjah.
In continuation of developing the administrative system and enhancing government work in accordance with the ambitious vision and directions of the Emirate of Sharjah, the Council approved the general organizational structure for both the Environment and Natural Reserves Authority and the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, in accordance with the competencies assigned to the two bodies and supporting their performance of their important roles.
The Council discussed supporting the economic market in the emirate with more modern commercial, technical and recreational activities, which keep pace with rapid progress and modern skills in various fields, and provide quality experience and activities for residents of the emirate.
The Council directed the study of modern activities in coordination with the relevant authorities in the emirate, and the establishment of controls and standards that enable commercial activities to provide benefits, preserve the cultural and valuable heritage, and enhance family cohesion in society.
