For the fourth day… the activities of the International Holy Quran Competition for People of Determination continue

For the fourth day in a row… the continuation of the final qualifying activities for the International Holy Qur’an Competition, organized by the Ministry of Endowments, with the participation of people of determination

Today, the final qualifying activities for the International Holy Qur’an Competition in its thirty-second edition, organized by the Ministry of Endowments, continue today for the fourth day in a row, held in the Grand Mosque of Egypt in the New Capital, amid wide international participation that reflects Egypt’s pioneering role in serving the Holy Qur’an and caring for it. I memorized it.

During this day, tests will be held for two branches of the competition, as tests will be held for the sixth branch for people of determination, in which 10 contestants from different countries will compete. In this branch, the requirement is to memorize the entire Holy Qur’an with the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim or Warsh on the authority of Nafi’, or both, with the interpretation of the thirtieth part in the light of the book Al-Bayan on the Selected in Interpreting the Holy Qur’an, and the age of the contestant at the time of announcing the competition must not exceed 25 years.

It came. This branch is sponsored by the Ministry for people of determination. Based on its efforts to care for them and work to integrate them within its advocacy and societal mission, and in line with the directives of the political leadership in building a comprehensive society that guarantees equal opportunities for all.

Also today, exams for the fourth branch designated for young women are being held, and in this branch it is required to memorize the entire Holy Qur’an with the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim or Warsh on the authority of Nafi’ or both, with the interpretation of the twenty-ninth and thirty-six parts, in light of the book Al-Bayan ‘ala Al-Mukhtab in interpreting the Holy Qur’an. The age of the contestant at the time of the announcement must not exceed 14 years.

These qualifiers come within the framework of the organized efforts to select the best participants in the competition, and to establish precise standards in memorization and performance, which reflects the growing interest in spreading the culture and sciences of the Holy Qur’an, and enhancing Egypt’s presence on the global Qur’anic scene.

The Ministry has allocated financial prizes amounting to 13 million Egyptian pounds for the competition, which is the largest support provided by the Ministry in the history of the competition; In confirmation of the status of the Holy Qur’an and its people, the winners will be honored by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi (may God protect him), during the grand celebration held by the Ministry of Endowments to celebrate Laylat al-Qadr in the month of Ramadan.
