"National elections": The counting of voters’ votes begins in 31 polling stations abroad in the House of Representatives elections

 Counsel Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Branch of the National Elections Authority, confirmed that all polling committees outside the country for individual seats in the districts canceled in the first stage of the House of Representatives elections in accordance with the rulings of the Supreme Administrative Court, have opened their doors on their scheduled times at nine in the morning according to the local time of each country, in order to receive voters wishing to cast their votes on the second day, the last of which was the Electoral Committee at the headquarters of the Egyptian Consulate General in the city of Los Angeles in the United States of America at exactly Seven o’clock in the evening, Cairo time.

Counsel Ahmed Bandari indicated, in a press conference held this evening, that the second and final electoral day has ended in 31 polling stations outside the country at the headquarters of Egyptian diplomatic missions, including embassies and consulates, where the work of counting the votes of voters, counting them numerically, and monitoring the votes obtained by each of the candidates began immediately, while the electoral process is still continuing within 108 committees. Polling.

 

He said that there are many agents of the candidates in this electoral round, who are located in a number of Arab countries, where elections are held abroad, and that they will receive the numerical inventory forms issued by the polling committees at the end of the work of those committees, which show the number of votes obtained by each candidate.

 

Councilor Ahmed Bandari expressed his great appreciation to the Egyptian citizens abroad who participated In the electoral process, he pointed out that the bad climatic conditions in many of the countries in which they are located did not prevent them from going to the polling stations, participating and casting their votes.

 

On the other hand, the Director of the Executive Branch of the National Elections Authority confirmed the completion of all preparations for conducting this electoral round inside the country, which will begin tomorrow morning, Wednesday, and continue over two consecutive days, indicating that the number of sub-polling committees is 2,372, The number of those entitled to cast their votes is 16 million and 43 thousand and 297 voters, distributed among the ten governorates in which the elections are held in 30 electoral districts containing 58 seats.

 

Councilor Ahmed Bandari addressed the voters inside Egypt, saying: “And we are only a few hours away from the start of voting inside, and we look forward to you completing what you started, by coming out and participating.” .. Elections are not just a procedural process, but rather, in their appearance and essence, they are the basis of sound democratic practice that preserves the stability of our country by achieving a constitutional balance between the authorities, renews the blood of institutions and corrects the course of their work.”

 

He added: “Elections are an inherent right of the citizen, through which he expresses the free will to choose the representatives of the nation who will undertake legislation and oversight, and reminds them not to deviate from the interests of The people.

First: Giza Governorate

The First District, Giza District – The Third District, Badrashin Center – The Sixth District, Boulaq Al-Dakrour District – The Seventh District, Omraniya District – The Ninth District, Al-Ahram District – The Tenth District, First of October District – The Twelfth District, Mansha’ah Center Qanater.

 

Secondly: Fayoum Governorate

Third District, Sennurs Center.

 

Third: Minya Governorate

The District: The First District, Minya First District – The Third District, Maghagha Center – The Fourth District, Abu Qurqas Center – The Fifth District, Mallawi Center – The Sixth District, Deir Center Mawas.

 

Fourth: Assiut Governorate
