Converted International Anti-Corruption Day 2025, in strategic partnership with The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority “Nazaha”, and broad academic participation, with the aim of fortifying the educational environment against irregular practices and consolidating the principles of transparency and accountability in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
In its awareness movement, which falls on December 9, the Ministry focused on activating “self-monitoring” tools among employees as a first line of defense, considering that daily job decisions are the true test for measuring the level of integrity in the educational institution.
Protection of Whistleblowers
The event opened the file “Protection of Whistleblowers” as one of the main topics of discussion, where the Ministry and partner agencies reviewed the regulatory guarantees that guarantee the confidentiality and safety of those who report suspicions of corruption, to encourage a culture of responsible reporting and combat covering up violations.
The Ministry revealed modern technical methods and interactive digital innovations used to detect violating practices, which reflects the development of control mechanisms and their transition from traditional methods to adoption. On data and smart systems in monitoring financial and administrative abuses.
Remarkable attendance
The meeting witnessed a remarkable attendance from universities and schools, which embodies the comprehensiveness of the awareness message to cover all components of the educational system, starting from schools all the way to higher education, to instil the values of honesty in young people and educational staff alike.
The Ministry renewed its commitment to continuing the fight against financial and administrative corruption not only through sanctions, but through awareness. Continuing and specialized workshops aimed at raising institutional awareness of risks and promoting positive employee behavior.
