"I have a lot".. Al-Saqr reveals the behind-the-scenes of the Pharaohs’ fall in the Arab Cup
The journalist Ahmed Hassan, through his program The Captain on DMC channel, criticized the reactions that appeared after the end of the Egyptian national team’s participation in the Arab Cup tournament.
Al-Saqr said that no one called for the league matches to be postponed in order to support the Egyptian national team participating in the Arab Cup, wondering about the lack of coordination and attention before competing.
Ahmed Hassan added: People are talking about the second team. Ok, I hope we work hard on the idea of having a national team like Morocco and Algeria participate in the African Championships and are well supported and prepared. We do not want to be surprised before the tournament and burden people beyond their capacity.
Al-Saqr stressed his rejection of some people’s attempt to “diagnose matters.” Where he said: Whoever personalizes matters, we will know how to respond to him.. And it is shameful to underestimate each other.. People everywhere respect and appreciate us, and I am like Egypt as an ambassador to the African Union, and I have a lot for everyone.
It is reported that the Egyptian national team exited the Arab Cup tournament in the group stage without achieving any victory, after drawing with Kuwait and the Emirates, then losing to Jordan in the last round.
