The Sharjah Vintage Cars Festival starts next January 22
Sharjah, December 13 / WAM / From the 22nd to the 25th of next January, the Sharjah Vintage Car Club will organize the third edition of the Sharjah Vintage Cars Festival under the slogan “When Time Moves” at the club’s headquarters, embodying its distinguished position as a platform that combines the passion for acquiring old cars and the arts of design and innovation in this field.
The festival comes in its third edition after the wide success achieved by the previous two editions to provide an integrated experience that combines history, beauty and innovation, and showcases a group of the rarest vehicles that remain present in memory as living evidence of the process of industrial development and human creativity. This edition reflects the club’s vision of making the festival a knowledge and cultural platform that combines heritage and modernity and attracts audiences of different ages and interests.
The festival presents a group of live performances of rare old vehicles, in addition to specialized dialogue sessions in which a number of experts, hobbyists and collectors participate, in addition to interactive programs that enhance the public’s awareness of the history of cars. The festival also includes dialogue sessions, live auctions, entertainment and commercial areas, and food and shopping outlets to provide an integrated experience for families and visitors from inside and outside the country.
Ahmed Hamad Al Suwaidi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Vintage Car Club, said that the festival embodies the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah in preserving the historical heritage and presenting it with a contemporary vision that enhances communication between generations and confirms its position as a global destination that embraces culture and innovation in the world of old cars.
