The forum witnessed the presence of remarkable numbers of families and visitors, in addition to wide participation from sheep breeders and those interested in the livestock sector.
The forum took place during Showcasing the most prominent characteristics of the purebred Beishi goat breed, as it provided those interested with an opportunity to showcase elite production of local breeds and exchange experiences and knowledge among themselves.
The Livestock Unit at the Ministry’s office in the Holy Capital also provided veterinary services, including free examinations and awareness programs, with the aim of enhancing health awareness and raising the level of disease prevention.
Saudi Food Security
The Director of the Ministry’s Office in the Holy Capital, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hatershi, explained that these forums are an important platform to empower Breeders can develop their businesses, which will reflect positively on local food security and enhance sustainable economic development paths.
He pointed out that these initiatives are in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of life and support the agricultural sector through modern and sustainable practices.
