Poultry prices stabilized in the Egyptian markets today, Saturday, December 13, 2025

Today, Saturday, December 13, 2025, poultry prices in the Egyptian markets witnessed a state of relative calm and stability, after a wave of price movements recorded by the poultry stock exchange during the past weeks, especially in the Cairo and Giza governorates, without any noticeable new increases appearing.

This stability comes in light of citizens’ daily monitoring of price movements, at a time when the cost of feed and production inputs still plays a role. Influencing the determination of final selling prices, whether on farms or retail outlets.

Informed sources within the poultry exchange confirmed that the prices currently traded are in the same price range recorded since the beginning of this week, without recording sudden jumps in the prices of chickens of various types, whether white, local or Sasso, in addition to relative stability in the prices of eggs and poultry derivatives.

The price of a kilo of white chickens on the poultry exchange stabilized at 61 pounds per kilo in the wholesale market, while the selling price to the consumer in retail stores ranged between 70 and 72 pounds per kilo, according to different regions and levels of supply and demand.
