Al-Ahly Basketball women face the Rwandan army in the semi-finals of the African Club Championship
The first “women’s” basketball team meets Al-Ahly Club and its counterpart, the Rwandan Army, today, in the semi-finals of the African Women’s Basketball Club Championship, which is hosted by Al-Ahly Club on the island until December 15 of this year.
The match will be held at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall, at exactly seven-thirty in the evening, and the Al-Ahly Basketball women’s team seeks to win it, in order to reserve a seat in the final of the tournament.
The women’s basketball team qualifies. For the quarter-finals of the tournament, topping the standings of Group A after achieving the full score and winning the three matches against the Ivorian Friends Association, Rwanda’s Rage, and Angola’s Sporting Luanda, and in the quarter-finals, it succeeded in defeating the Congolese team, CNSS, which was held yesterday with a score of 98-55.
