Brazilian Flamengo wins a cup "Challenge" It qualifies for the Intercontinental Cup final

Doha, December 13 / WAM / The Brazilian Flamengo team was crowned champion of the Challenge Cup, after defeating Egyptian Pyramids by two goals to no, in the match that brought them together tonight at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha, to qualify for the final of the Intercontinental Club Confederations Cup.
Flamengo, the South American champion, settled the confrontation against Pyramids, the champion of Africa and the Tri-Continent Cup, by scoring a goal in each half, as Leo Pereira opened the scoring in the 24th minute, before Danilo Luiz da Silva increased the score with the second goal in the 52nd minute.
In the final match of the Intercontinental Club Cup, Flamengo will face French team Paris Saint-Germain, the Champions League champion, next Wednesday at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Doha.
