"National Media": Maspero returns as a platform for awareness, culture and publishing after 14 years
The writer Ahmed Al-Muslimani, President of the National Media Authority, announced the Authority’s success in restoring the publication of books and writings through the “Maspero Book” series after 14 years of interruption. Al-Maslamani said: “We are working to strengthen the Egyptian school in all fields, especially science and heritage, and the Holy Quran Radio is currently working in cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments and with specialized researchers from inside and outside Maspero.” On the release of “Musnad Imam Al-Layth”.
The head of National Media added: “I spoke with the Minister of Endowments about this historical work, and Dr. Abdullah Shehata, in his book “The Egyptian Imam Al-Layth bin Saad”, published a quarter of a century ago, mentioned that Al-Layth had narrated 916 hadiths Al-Bukhari, Muslim and Al-Nasa’i, and if we counted everything that was mentioned in the books of the Sunnah, we would be facing the Musnad of Imam Al-Layth. ".
He indicated that the Holy Quran Radio, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, will announce the details of the work and the expected date for the issuance of the Musnad in a later statement.
