The Budget Committee of the German Parliament approves military spending in the tens of billions

The Budget Committee of the German Parliament (Bundestag) approved spending more than 50 billion euros (equivalent to 59 billion dollars) on weapons and military equipment.

The German Ministry of Defense confirmed that this is the largest amount ever approved for the German army, according to the German network (Deutsche Welle).
