Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police: Our security system is a pillar of sustainable security and safety
ABU DHABI, 18 December, 2018 (WAM) – His Excellency Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaytoun Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, confirmed that the wise vision of the wise leadership has enabled the police agencies to build an integrated security system of readiness to enhance and sustain security and safety in society, to protect the nation’s gains and maintain its development process.
In a speech on the occasion of “Arab Police Day,” which falls on December 18 of each year, His Excellency explained that Arab security cooperation constitutes an essential pillar in more effectively addressing the security challenges facing all our societies, pointing out the importance of developing partnerships and exchanging experiences in a way that contributes to confronting cross-border threats, supports prevention efforts, and establishes reassurance among members of society.
He pointed out that the police sector in the UAE is witnessing rapid development based on adopting the latest artificial intelligence technologies and proactive systems, and qualifying national competencies in accordance with the highest international standards, which ensures rapid response and raising the efficiency of security performance, in line with the country’s ambitions for leadership and competitiveness.
He stressed that the positive results achieved by the country in indicators of security and quality of life represent a living witness to the strength of the security system, and the pioneering achievements it has achieved in the process of security work in the nation of goodness and giving, and its obtaining first places in the most prominent international reports related to the level of security, safety and quality of life, thereby consolidating its global position as an ideal destination for living in reassurance and stability, and providing a safe and stable environment, which enhances the UAE’s position as one of the safest and most secure countries in the world.
His Excellency saluted and thanked the members of the Abu Dhabi Police, including officers, individuals and civilian workers, for their pioneering roles in maintaining security, safety and stability, and their continued commitment to the values of loyalty, belonging and giving to the homeland, stressing that the safety of society is a shared responsibility in which the police’s efforts are integrated with the members of society through adherence to the laws and cooperation with those in charge of implementing them.
